My story

My love for design started when I was little. I was fortunate enough to be born into a middle class Dutch family, so I had the privilege of having access to a computer. I was introduced to games like Rollercoaster Tycoon and SimCity, which became an overnight obsession for me. My goal when playing was simple: Create the best possible experience for my users, even if they were virtual.

Years later my love for design was reignited when I enrolled in two digital design minors in college. I quickly realized that this was what I was actually passionate about, so I ended up switching majors to Communication & Multimedia Design with the goal of becoming a UX Designer.

Now I enjoy the privilege of being able to make design choices that matter, alongside loveable colleagues whilst working for great brands. 

When I’m not designing you may find me enjoying one of my many interests, which include but are not limited to:

Cars and driving, music, tech & gadgets, art & design, reading, cooking & food, fitness & health, film & cinema, urban planning and public policy.

My dream is to one day combine my design skill-set with one of the above interests. I would love to design (some part of) a car someday.
